Asraa Maki Jawad Alkanaty was born in Basra, an Iraqi city. Her undergraduate degree is in Electrical Engineering from the University of Basra.
Upon moving to England, she earned a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies from Milddlesex University in London. In pursuit of her solemn fervency for Islamic studies and philosophy, she embarked on a journey of book writing. WTo extend her repertoire, she intends to translate her book into Arabic in order to publish her first book. She believes that a book is the best companion in time because it is an impassioned researcher.
