How effective is the English language as a medium in teaching Islamic studies compared to using Arabic language? What kind of conceptual ambiguities will the students experience whilst using the English language to understand Arabic terms that express Islamic concepts? Finally, what are the ambiguities faced when translating Arabic Islamic terms into English?  If the research can enlighten on these three objectives, it will be a valuable addition to the study of Islamic studies and its relationship with the English language.
